Video content is winning.
Are you using it?!
Video marketing is taking over the digital marketing landscape. And it’s quickly become one of the most effective ways to communicate directly with your audience and elicit action. Here are the stats:
83% of video marketers say video helps them with lead generation.
87% of video marketers say video has increased traffic to their website.
80% of video marketers say video has directly helped increase sales.
95% of video marketers plan to increase or maintain video spend in 2020.

Moral of the story? It’s time to get on board.
So how do I create video content anyway?
Honestly, video isn’t our forte. Though we enjoy being on camera, we aren’t exactly production gurus. So if you relate, here are some of our top tips to get started.
Go live.
Most social media platforms allow for a live option, and in 2020 users favor authentic content. That means if you go rogue, your audience recognizes you’re human – and is okay with a simple mistake.Try doing a live Q&A or event.
Gif yourself.
Everyone loves gifs. So why not go viral and gif yourself? There’s an app for everything – so test gifs on social & email. Gifs are a great way to create brand awareness and stay at the top of mind for your clients. Not to mention, it gives everyone a good laugh.
Use animation.
There’s plenty of software out there to help you create some industry-related animation content or have some fun. Do some research, and try investing in some ways to take your content to the next level.
Send videos to your clients.
One of the ways I try to stand out is through video. Whether I’m prospecting, sending a proposal, introducing new software, thanking a client, or posting on social, I’ll typically record a quick video just like this ➡️
Outsource.
On our team, we’re big believers in staying in our own zone of genius. And for our team, that includes ads, social, email, content, web, & thanks to some new team additions – branding – but NOT video. Therefore, we’ve got some amazing referral partners we can send you to if you need help. So here’s your friendly reminder to stay in your lane and outsource the rest.
